  1. TKWA is an architectural design studio and perfect exemplar of the concepts “Incremental Growth and Graceful Becoming”.
Having known Tom Kubala and Allen Washatko since TKWA’s inception just over thirty years ago, I have seen this magnificent growth and becoming in both word and action within their studio itself. Having the honor to have worked on many of TKWA’s projects as lighting designer including the Zhongguancun No. 3 Elementary School in Beijing in partnership with the lighting studio Lighting Ergonomics, we are now extremely proud to also be on the design team for the new Xiang Lake Academy in southern China which has over a million square feet of construction.
It is the finest architectural studio to be associated with as every new project one works on reveals something deeper and resonate with the human spirit. The entire studio represents the finest architects and designers I’ve come to know.
