Milwaukee, WI – [January 21, 2025] — Milwaukee’s favorite combination of creativity and cocktails is back and better than ever. Splash Studio – Milwaukee’s original painting bar – makes its bold return at its new home, The New Fashioned (1122 N. Vel R. Phillips Avenue in Deer District) on Saturday, February 1, 2025. The newest iteration of Splash Studio delivers an elevated experience for both art enthusiasts and first-time painters.

Bigger, better, and more delicious than ever, Splash Studio fuses the charm of painting with a themed craft cocktail list and a Wisconsin-forward food menu. For guests seeking a unique activity for a date night, celebration, or team building, Splash Studio is the gold standard in Milwaukee.

“Since it first opened in 2012, Splash Studio has always been about creativity and connection,” said David Poytinger, Bars & Recreation’s Chief Innovation Officer. “Now at The New Fashioned, we’re bringing this classic experience to the heart of downtown Milwaukee.”

Located in Deer District, The New Fashioned offers an exciting backdrop for this revitalized creative experience. Guests of The New Fashioned can enjoy themed paint nights, along with HyperBowling, dartball, deck curling, quick service food, and Milwaukee’s largest self-pour tap wall.

The Splash Studio official launch event takes place on Saturday, February 1 with a special painting session of Milwaukee favorite, The Hoan Bridge. Valentine’s Day weekend will feature special couples’ paintings such as guest favorites Trunks and Bird’s Eye View, and sessions include complimentary sparkling wine and chocolate-covered strawberries.
