MILWAUKEE, WIS. – November 21, 2024 – OnMilwaukee.com has announced the promotion of COO Carolynn Buser to CEO effective immediately.

Buser joined OnMilwaukee in 2010 as Senior Marketing Consultant and then became Editorial Director. Buser was promoted to Chief Content Officer in 2020 and Chief Operating Officer in After almost 15 years with OnMilwaukee, I am thrilled to step into the role of CEO. It’s been an honor to watch this company evolve, and I’m excited to continue that journey with the same passion and dedication that fir drew me here. Together with our talented team, I’m committed to pushing boundaries, telling meaningful stories, and strengthening the ties we have with our community and partners. I can’t wait to lead us into the next chapter.

Buser also currently serves on the board of the Local Media Consortium through 2026.
