Norden Range Apartments Ahead of Schedule for Year-end Completion
OCONOMOWOC, WI — Progress is moving swiftly at Norden Range, Mandel Group’s 270-unit luxury multifamily development located within the Olde Highlander master planned community. The development has progressed rapidly and is now scheduled to finish before year-end, nearly three months ahead of schedule. Brisk leasing demand has already accounted for 89% of delivered apartment homes being committed to new residents. A substantial number of leases have also been written for buildings not yet delivered. Over 300 residents already occupy completed apartment homes and call Norden Range ‘home.’

New roads, utilities, and stormwater features were necessary to support development on the former Olympia Resort golf course. Pabst Road was extended through the site and completed in late 2024. Neumann Homes is developing 352 homesites immediately west of Norden Range with over 119 residences completed or under construction. Mandel Group and its construction partner, Moore Construction, recently hosted a “topping off” celebration with subcontractors to mark the completion of framing for the final buildings at Norden Range. In total, 270 apartment homes will be located within the Norden Range community along with an extensive amenity center for residents and expansive natural areas crisscrossed with walking pathways.
The feedback from new residents has been overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing appreciation for the spacious, peaceful setting, well-crafted homes, and sense of community.
A young family of four moved to Norden Range in early 2025. The husband and father of two has found that “Living at Norden Range has been such a unique experience. Designed by Milwaukee-based architecture firm RINKA+, Norden Range draws inspiration from Scandinavian home principles. The design features clean lines, expression of natural materials, and minimalist details that reflect Nordic heritage—resulting in a cohesive and elevated aesthetic across the property. Home quality interiors include plank flooring, custom closet systems, and Kohler plumbing fixtures. Kitchens feature built-in informal dining tables, quartz countertops, and custom cabinetry. Large Pella fiberglass windows offer abundant natural light throughout each apartment home and complete the energy-efficient exterior envelope.
