Nominations Open for Brewers Grand Slam Teacher of the Month, Hometown Champions and Superfan Spotlight
MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Brewers today launched a series of community recognition programs including the Grand Slam Teacher of the Month, Hometown Champions, presented by Vortex®, and Brewers Superfan Spotlight. Nominations are open now.
GRAND SLAM TEACHER OF THE MONTH
Nominations for the 2025 Grand Slam Teacher of the Month Award are now open. Students, educators, parents, community leaders and fans can nominate a Grand Slam teacher online at brewers.com/Teacher. All educators throughout the state of Wisconsin are eligible to participate in the Grand Slam Teacher of the Month program.
HOMETOWN CHAMPIONS, presented by Vortex®
The Hometown Champions Award, presented by Vortex®, honors Wisconsin’s first responders. The Brewers recognize the courage, commitment and sacrifices of the men and women in fire rescue service, law enforcement, emergency medical services and first responder roles across Wisconsin. These selfless heroes protect and serve communities every day and risk their lives to do so. Nominations are open now at brewers.com/Hometown.
Monthly winners will receive four tickets to a Brewers game where they will be recognized on-field to throw out a ceremonial first pitch and an honorary award celebrating their service.
SUPERFAN SPOTLIGHT
The Brewers Superfan Spotlight serves as a meaningful way for the Brew Crew to express gratitude to the core of their success – the passionate and dedicated fans who bring the energy to American Family Field every game. The Brewers are looking for those who demonstrate passionate fandom, positive team spirit, creative displays of support, community engagement and social media presence. Fans can nominate their favorite Superfan at brewers.com/Superfan.
Single-game tickets will go on sale this Friday, February 14 at 9 a.m. at brewers.com, 1-800-933-7890, as well as at the American Family Field Ticket Office.
