NEWaukee Partners with Greater Milwaukee Foundation for On The Table MKE

Milwaukee, Wisc. August 27, 2018 — For the second year, NEWaukee is excited to announce their partnership with the Greater Milwaukee Foundation as a mega-table host for On the Table MKE, which will be taking place on Tuesday, October 9th from 6 to 8pm at Milwaukee’s City Hall, located at 200 E Wells St., Milwaukee WI, 53202.

On the Table MKE is a community dinner party that elevates civic conversation, fosters new relationships and inspires action for the benefit of greater Milwaukee. Guests purchase their own meal or bring their own dinner. The evening begins with a reception hour where guests mingle, secure a meal and find a seat at the community table. Guests are encouraged to attend with an open mind to the large variety of different perspectives that will be discussed.

“Providing a forum for those eager to participate in On the Table to gather and connect with strangers is both an honor and a privilege for us,” explains Angela Damiani, CEO of NEWaukee. “The City Hall experience allows the public to join in the festivities in the people’s house, at the epicenter of downtown. Last year’s program brought a diverse array of participants, and we hope this year builds upon that success once again.”

NEWaukee’s table at City Hall is free and open to the public. All are welcome to attend.
