City Attorney Evan Goyke Endorses Judge Nathan Petrashek
MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee City Attorney Evan Goyke today announced his endorsement of Judge Nathan Petrashek to continue serving on the Wisconsin Court of Appeals, District I.
“Nathan Petrashek is exactly the kind of judge we need,” said Goyke. “He approaches every case with preparation, fairness, and respect for the rule of law. His years serving on the Court of Appeals have given him a remarkable understanding of Wisconsin law, but what stands out even more is his integrity, humility, and commitment to serving the public. I know Nathan will continue to uphold the independence of our judiciary and ensure every person who comes before the court receives a fair hearing. I’m proud to endorse his campaign.”
Before serving as Milwaukee City Attorney, Goyke represented Milwaukee in the Wisconsin State Assembly, where he earned a reputation for thoughtful leadership, creative problem-solving, and a steadfast commitment to justice and public service. Throughout his career, he has worked to strengthen public trust in government and protect the rights of Wisconsin families and communities.

Judge Nathan Petrashek serves on the Wisconsin Court of Appeals, District I, representing Milwaukee County. He was appointed by Governor Tony Evers after more than sixteen years serving the Court of Appeals as a law clerk and staff attorney. During that time, he worked on hundreds of appeals involving constitutional law, criminal procedure, family law, civil litigation, personal injury, and many other areas of Wisconsin law, helping judges resolve some of the state’s most consequential legal questions.
