Neal Plotkin Announces Historic Nomination Signature Total
Plotkin for Senate campaign gathered over 1,200 signatures to earn a place on the ballot
GLENDALE – Neal Plotkin, candidate for Wisconsin State Senate District 8, announced the total number of nomination signatures gathered by the campaign. He issued the following statement:
“Due to the current public health pandemic, collecting nomination signatures has been a challenge unlike any that could have been imagined when we first entered this campaign. No problem! Thanks to an awesome group of volunteers, we collected over 1,200 signatures, many of them signed and mailed into the campaign by residents across the district. Nomination signatures came in from Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington and Waukesha Counties, and everywhere in between” noted Plotkin.
“I’m humbled and honored for the support and trust our campaign has earned from district residents and promise to earn that trust throughout this campaign and beyond. Voters are ready for new leadership in Madison. They need someone to lead on day one, and provide pragmatic, thoughtful solutions to the problems we face in these challenging times. As the Democratic nominee to take on Alberta Darling, I promise to work hard every day toward victory in November. Let’s get to work!” concluded Plotkin.
Neal Plotkin is a small business owner in southeastern Wisconsin. He is also a substitute teacher at Nicolet High School in Glendale. He and his wife Nancy, a Registered Nurse, are Glendale residents and homeowners. They have three children and four grandkids.
