Navy Band To Perform in Milwaukee

Navy Band Great Lakes is coming to Milwaukee for a series of free public concerts as part of Milwaukee Navy Week, July 15 to 19. Milwaukee is one of just 15 cities selected for a Navy Week in 2025, allowing the community the opportunity to meet their Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard teams and experience America’s sea services and capabilities first-hand.

Navy Band Great Lakes is scheduled to perform in the Milwaukee area:

  • July 16, 12 p.m., “Heartbeats of the City” at Red Arrow Park, 920 North Water St., Milwaukee, Wisconsin
  • July 16, 5 p.m., at the Mequon Public Market, 6300 West Spur Road, Mequon, Wisconsin
  • July 17, 11:45 a.m., “Bastille Days” at the Beaux Arts Stage, Cathedral Square Park, 520 East Wells St., Milwaukee, Wisconsin
  • July 17, 2 p.m., “Proclamation Ceremony,” at the Vietnam Memorial, 750 North Lincoln Memorial Drive, Milwaukee, Wisconsin
  • July 17, 6 p.m., Music in the Garden at the Vietnam Memorial, 750 North. Lincoln Memorial Drive, Milwaukee, Wisconsin
  • July 18, 2:45 p.m., “Bastille Days,” at the Main Stage, Cathedral Square Park, 520 East Wells St., Milwaukee, Wisconsin

As the Navy’s Ambassadors to the Midwest, Navy Band Great Lakes connects, unites, and inspires millions of people each year. They provide musical support for communities of all sizes as well as supporting Navy recruiting in an 11-state area of responsibility stretching from Michigan to North Dakota. Featuring active-duty Navy musicians, these Sailors are among the Navy’s most talented and versatile entertainers, enjoyed by audiences of all ages. One of the band’s core responsibilities includes performing public concerts and supporting outreach activities for the Navy, allowing the band to connect with audiences in areas of the country that do not have opportunities to see the Navy on a regular basis.
