By - Nov 22nd, 2024 04:55 pm

Nas Musa, a respected business owner, community leader, and lifelong Milwaukee resident, is excited to announce his candidacy for the 3rd Aldermanic District seat. Known for his dedication to fostering strong community connections and supporting local businesses, Nas is stepping forward to continue the legacy of leadership following the vacancy left by Alderman Jonathan Brostoff.

Raised on Milwaukee’s South Side, Nas is one of nine siblings who grew up immersed in the values of hard work, family, and community. He began working in his family’s restaurant at just ten years old and stepped up to help support the family when his father retired. Over the years, he has successfully run multiple businesses within the 3rd Aldermanic District, solidifying his reputation as a trusted community leader.

Nas’s campaign focuses on public safety and strengthening the connection between small businesses and residents. “Every day, I listen to our neighbors’ concerns and work with them to find solutions,” Nas said. “I am committed to bringing that same dedication to the Common Council.”

With a proven history of business leadership, effective budget management, and strong problem-solving skills, Nas is well-prepared to address the challenges facing the 3rd District. His candidacy also represents a historic milestone as he seeks to become the first Palestinian-American elected to public office in Wisconsin, reflecting Milwaukee’s growing diversity and inclusivity.

Nas is a loving husband and father of three, proudly raising his family in the 3rd Aldermanic District, the community he calls home. Deeply invested in the community’s future, he invites all residents to join him in building a safer, stronger, and more united Milwaukee.
