NARI Milwaukee Hosts 62nd Annual Spring Home Improvement Show
Show Runs February 16-18 at State Fair Park
MILWAUKEE (January 15, 2024) – Home is where the heart is so it’s important that homeowners do their research before moving ahead with a remodeling or home improvement project. A visit to the 62nd annual NARI Milwaukee Spring Home Improvement Show is one of easiest and most efficient ways to talk with a number of experts.
The Show includes approximately 150 NARI Milwaukee members who provide remodeling and home improvement services and products – from design/build firms to specialized contractors for all areas of the home, including roofing, gutters, windows, doors, HVAC, electrical, painting and more.
The 2024 NARI Milwaukee Spring Home Improvement Show features:
- 150 NARI Milwaukee members – Talk with trusted, local experts who are ready and willing to answer any and all questions, no matter how big or small they might be. These experts can also make recommendations and provide homeowners with guidance, solutions and creative suggestions.
- Grandmillennial Interior Design Challenge – What’s old is new again as Grandmillennial décor becomes popular. Also called “granny-chic,” the style combines traditional, homey pieces with modern elements. Think floral curtains, floral wallpaper and patterned upholstery that are added to sleek, uncluttered rooms. Students from MATC, Mount Mary University and WCTC will each create a room around the Grandmillennial theme.
- Tile as an Accent – Each day at 11:30 a.m., Virginia Tile will go in-depth on ways to use tile to accent the home.
- “The Plant Doctor” Melinda Myers – Each day at 12:30 p.m., Melinda Myers will share her knowledge of all things green and growing. On Feb. 16, she’ll cover “Understanding Gardening Basics to Boost Your Gardening Success;” Feb. 17 she’ll share “Garden Renovations for Any Size Landscape – Affordable & Attractive Solutions to Enhance Any Garden;” and Feb. 18 the topic turns to “Unique Ways to Use Containers to Expand your Planting Space & Beautify Your Landscape.”
- Add Personality with Paint – Each day at 2 p.m., Mike Madson from Colorwheel Painting, LLC will share his tips and advice for bringing personality and pizzazz into a home using paint.
- Shining a Light on Lighting – Each day at 3 p.m., Join Gerhard’s Kitchen & Bath Store for an illuminating talk about light fixtures and how they can breathe new life into a room.
- Show-wide Scavenger Hunt – Showgoers can participate in a special scavenger hunt that includes a few unexpected surprises.
- NARI Milwaukee Foundation – Learn more about the NARI Milwaukee Foundation, which focuses on growing the trades by offering scholarships and supporting trade professionals as they pursue continuing education.
