MILWAUKEE (February 2, 2026) – The Morning Glory Art Fair, a signature summer event that features work from the area’s most talented artists, is returning to a familiar space. Morning Glory 2026 will take place on the outdoor grounds of the Marcus Performing Arts Center, 929 N. Water St., Milwaukee, Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Morning Glory, which is free to attend, was previously held at the Marcus Center from 2003 to 2017 before moving to the plaza in front of Fiserv Forum in 2018 while the Center underwent extensive grounds and landscaping updates.

“We’re excited to be back at the Marcus Center and welcome fair goers to its beautiful, parklike setting,” says Kate Marotz, president of Wisconsin Craft. “In addition, we are thrilled to kick off the summer at a location that’s recognized for its artistry and creativity. It’s a perfect pairing for our organization, our members and those who love Morning Glory and the amazing artwork we showcase year after year.”

Morning Glory anticipates approximately 100-plus artists and craftspeople will be juried into the 2026 fair in 10 categories – ceramics, fiber arts, glass, jewelry, mixed media, painting and drawing, photography and digital art, printmaking, sculpture and wood.

“As the cultural heart for the arts in Milwaukee, and in our mission to be the gathering place for all, we are honored to welcome the Morning Glory Art Fair back to our outdoor grounds. We look forward to welcoming artists and attendees and celebrating this long-standing tradition so expertly executed by the dedicated staff of Wisconsin Craft and their many volunteers,” says Lory Bowman vice president, marketing & communications. The Morning Glory Art Fair is hosted by Wisconsin Craft, one of the oldest fine craft organizations in the country. As part of its focus on supporting artists, each year Wisconsin Craft presents two signature events in Milwaukee – Morning Glory Art Fair, May 30-31, and MKE Studio Tour, Oct. 3-4. The organization also offers an online directory at wisconsincraft.org so buyers can easily purchase signature, hand-crafted items from 85 artists.

In addition, this year, the organization is hosting a special members’ exhibition. Creative Playground: Working In Collaboration will run Feb. 6 – March 6 at Alverno College with an opening reception on Feb. 13, 5 – 7:30 p.m. The exhibit is designed to challenge artists, push their boundaries and encourage innovative thinking by requiring them to collaborate in groups of two or three to create artwork.
