Monterrey Market celebrates grand opening on Milwaukee’s west side
On Thursday, June 26, Monterrey Market celebrated the grand opening of its third location at 7025 W. Main St. in the 10th Aldermanic District. The approximately 40,000 square foot store occupies the former Walmart location that closed in the spring of 2024. Alderwoman Sharlen Moore is thrilled by the new addition to the area.
“I would like to thank everyone who believed in us and supported us, including our loyal customers, dedicated staff, city leaders, and other partners,” said Robert Montemayor. “As we open the doors to this new store, we reaffirm our promise: to continue serving with heart, with purpose, and with pride.”
The new Monterrey Market includes a variety of fresh produce, a deli, bakery, and other products from Latin America. The store will be open daily from 7 a.m. – 9 p.m. For more information visit https://monterreymarketwi.com/.
