Milwaukee County Parks Presents Two Thrilling Halloween Events for Families!
MILWAUKEE, WI — This October, Milwaukee County Parks is excited to host two spectacular Halloween-themed events that are perfect for families looking to enjoy the spooky season in safe and enchanting settings. Mark your calendars to make sure and catch these can’t-miss autumn festivities!
1. Halloween Haunts at Wehr Nature Center
- Dates: October 17-19, 2024
- Time: Entry start times range from 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM
- Location: Wehr Nature Center, 9701 W College Ave, Franklin, WI 53132

- Admission: $14 per person; $12 for Friends of Wehr members. A parking fee of $5 is also payable online during registration (non-members).

- Details: Celebrate the 36th edition of Halloween Haunts with your family! For three special nights, the Wehr Nature Center transforms into an Enchanted Forest where children are guided by costumed characters like owls, frogs, and skunks through a path lit by over three hundred Jack-o-lanterns. This event is tailor-made for children aged 4 to 10 and is filled with fun, not fright, making it just spooky enough to keep the laughs coming without the nightmares.
- Note: Strollers are not permitted. Babies in carriers/backpacks enter free. A maximum of 16 tickets may be purchased per household.

2. Resource Fair & Trick-or-Treating at Kosciuszko Community Center

- Details: Organized by Milwaukee County Parks and the Kosciuszko Advisory Board, this event invites all local “ghouls and boos” for an evening of festive fun. Families can enjoy a costume contest, safe trick-or-treating, spooky activities, and the opportunity to gather valuable information from community resource vendors.
