MCTS Invites Community to Attend Public Meetings on Proposed Fall 2022 Route Changes

By - Jun 7th, 2022 03:54 pm

MILWAUKEE (June 7, 2022) — Each season, Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) updates routes to better serve riders. These quarterly adjustments allow MCTS to reflect ridership trends so buses run on time and offer convenient transfer connections. Some things that impact schedules include semester breaks, long-term construction detours, and changes in business locations or hours. To make transit more efficient, MCTS proposes improvements to Routes 18, 19, 35, 54, 60, 80, and the PurpleLine, and invites the community to offer feedback on these proposed changes for the fall.

WHO:
Milwaukee County bus riders, prospective riders, community leaders and stakeholders are invited to attend the virtual MCTS public meetings to learn about and share feedback on proposed service changes.

WHAT:
1-hour online Zoom meetings

WHEN:
Register in advance at RideMCTS.com/PublicMeetings to attend any of the upcoming public meetings:

  • Wednesday, June 8 at 6 p.m.
  • Thursday, June 9 at 12 p.m.
