MCSO Responds to Shots Fired on I-94
Milwaukee, WI (July 15, 2020) – On July 15, 2020, at approximately 2:09 a.m., deputies responded to a report of shots fired on westbound I-94 at Mitchell Blvd. Upon their arrival, the victim stated he was driving his semi-truck westbound on I-94, approaching 35th Street, when a vehicle swerved towards his vehicle. The victim honked his horn and then heard what he believed to be 4 to 5 gunshots. The deputies responded and observed four bullet holes in the driver’s side of the semi-truck. There were no injuries in this incident.
The freeway was closed from 27th Street to Mitchell Blvd. for approximately 2 hours for evidence gathering.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff‘s Office Criminal Investigations Division is conducting the investigation. No further information is available at this time.
