Mazorca Harvest Fest 2018 in Walker’s Point
Important Notification from Alderman Pérez
The first Mazorca Harvest Fest will be held at 209 S. 1st St. in the heart of Walker’s Point. This is located on the southwest corner of 1st and Pittsburgh. The festival will take place on Saturday, October 27, 2018, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
This is a free event that will highlight the successful harvest of Mazorca’s 1 year anniversary, locally recognized musicians, artists, creatives, our community, the whole world! Festival attendees will have the opportunity to shop the work of local artists and enjoy a diverse selection of music such as latin hip-hop, violinists, a Milwaukee Band and Brown’s Crew.
We will hold a beat battle and choose our first Mazorca Beat King. Our special guest judges are CameOne, MAG and Ordinary Freaks from Milwaukee.
Mazorca’s harvest fest will feature food from Mazorca’s Tacos, Mazorca Tortas, sweets from Algo Dulce and beer.
Mazorca’s mission is to experience food, art and culture through our eyes, the offspring of Mexican immigrants who surrendered to calling Milwaukee HOME.
