Mandela Barnes Talks Out of Both Sides of His Mouth on Vaccine Mandates

[Madison, WI] – Last week, Joe Biden announced his unconstitutional vaccine mandate plan that will punish Wisconsin small businesses and families. After multiple failed attempts to dodge questions on this important topic during yesterday’s edition of WISN’s UpFront, Mandela Barnes eventually gave an answer of half-hearted support while refusing to take a hard stance, saying that “we are getting to the point where we do need to require vaccines.”

While Wisconsin businesses are already struggling to find workers, Joe Biden is threatening to make their labor issues worse. Meanwhile, this federal overreach will also disproportionately affect lower-income and minority Americans. Senator Ron Johnson immediately made clear that he knows that these mandates represent a “trampling of civil liberties;” if Democrats want to take his seat, they owe Wisconsinites a real answer about where they stand.
