Libertarian Party of Wisconsin Calls For Equal Access At Debates

By - Oct 17th, 2024 01:29 pm

The Libertarian Party of Wisconsin (LPWI) formally invites all interested voters and members of the media to a protest of the Wisconsin US Senate debate this Friday, October 18, 2024 from 6-9 pm at the WMTV studios at 615 Forward Dr. in Madison, WI. The protest, hosted by Senate candidate Phil Anderson, is to call out the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association Foundation and their deliberate exclusion of non “major” party candidates by creating unreasonable barriers to inclusion. Phil will also be answering the same questions posed to the “major” party candidates in real time.

“We’re tired of being intentionally excluded. The Wisconsin Broadcasters Association has become an instrument of big party political tyranny, rather than reporting on it. There are more candidates on the ballot than just Baldwin and Hovde. Why shouldn’t they have access to public airwaves as well?” – Senate candidate Phil Anderson

The LPWI strongly believes that Wisconsin voters have the right to hear from all candidates running for office in Wisconsin, not just the approved ones.

For those that cannot be in Madison, but are still interested in the protest, it will be simulcast at: DisruptTheCorruption.com.
