Larry Miller Announces Endorsement from Milwaukee Area Labor Council
Working people of Milwaukee support strong public schools, need Miller’s experience
MILWAUKEE – Larry Miller, vice president of the Milwaukee Public School Board, today announced the endorsement from the Milwaukee Area Labor Council in his bid for reelection.
Sheila Cochran, Secretary Treasurer of the Milwaukee Area Labor Council, said, “We proudly continue to support the incumbency of Larry Miller and his foresight on the MPS board. We think his experience is needed at this critical juncture.”
Miller said, “I have spent my career standing alongside the working people of Milwaukee and I look forward to continuing to do so in the coming years ahead. Milwaukee Public Schools is an institution that fosters growth, development, and prepares students to become active members of our communities. As we continue to make improvements across MPS, the Milwaukee Area Labor Council will continue to be a strong partner as they have been for all these years.”
Larry Miller is currently the vice president of the Milwaukee Public School board and has been representing Milwaukee’s 5th district for the past eight years. He resides on the city’s east side with his wife, Ellen Bravo. The general election is Tuesday, April 4, 2017.
