La Crosse Mayor Shaundel Washington-Spivey Endorses David Crowley for Governor
LA CROSSE – Today, La Crosse Mayor Shaundel Washington-Spivey announced his endorsement of Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley in the Democratic primary for governor of Wisconsin.
[inarticled]Mayor Washington-Spivey praised Crowley’s record of executive leadership as the qualities Wisconsin needs in its next governor.
“I’m excited to stand alongside David Crowley, our future governor of the state of Wisconsin,” said Mayor Washington-Spivey. “While serving as County Executive, David has been committed to investing in public safety, building affordable housing, creating new jobs, cutting property taxes, and balancing the budget. I am supporting David for governor because he has experience tackling tough issues in Milwaukee County and believe he will do the same and more for every community in the state.”
Mayor Washington-Spivey mentioned Crowley’s commitment to improving life for working families and that Wisconsinites deserve a governor who understands the struggles families face each day.
