Milwaukee, WI, Sept. 18, 2018 – La Causa, Inc. has named Yolanda Valdes as Principal of La Causa Charter School, a bilingual, multicultural K4 through 8th grade school.
“We are thrilled to have Yolanda join the Agency in this leadership role,” said George A. Torres, President & CEO of La Causa, Inc. “Yolanda is highly credentialed and brings over 30 years of experience in education including a position as Assistant Superintendent in the Illinois School District. Born in Cuba, she is bilingual and bi-cultural. Not only does Yolanda connect with students and parents who are English language learners, she demonstrates that with education anything is possible. She is a dedicated educator,” Torres added, “who embodies our Charter School’s mission – to help students succeed in life and in today’s ever-changing global workforce.”
