Juneau Beer Garden Opens for the 2026 Season on May 15th

Milwaukee, WIMilwaukee County Parks is excited to welcome the community back to the Juneau Beer Garden for the start of the 2026 season on Friday, May 15. Located at 900 N. Prospect Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53202, the downtown lakefront destination will once again serve as a premier gathering place for friends, families, and neighbors to enjoy Milwaukee summers in the parks.

Opening day festivities begin just before 4:00 p.m. with a short ceremony and first-pour celebration to kick off the 2026 season at Juneau Beer Garden. Following remarks from local leaders and partners, guests can enjoy complimentary beer and root beer for 20 minutes while celebrating the return of another summer of community gatherings, live entertainment, and local brews in Milwaukee County Parks.

A Look Back at 2025

Juneau Beer Garden continued its successful run last year, serving up more than 30,000 pints of beer and over 1,000 1-liter steins of beer. Guests also enjoyed 3,900 Klement’s Sausages and 1,800 Milwaukee Pretzel Company soft pretzels.

  • Juneau offers 18 tap lines
  • Seating for more than 300 guests
  • Since Juneau Beer Garden opened a few years ago, The Parks Department improved lighting and re-paved paths throughout the park
  • Food trucks will rotate on Friday nights & all-day Saturday
  • Beer garden favorites such as various brats/sausage/hotdogs and Milwaukee Pretzel Company soft pretzels will be available
  • Live music will take place on opening night, and on Fridays, & Saturdays from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM, sponsored by Third Space Brewing
  • Profits to Parks – drinking at Juneau Beer Garden supports future park projects

“The greatest season in Milwaukee is upon us – Beer Garden Season! Third Space Brewing looks forward to creating a fun and welcoming “third space” in Juneau Park this summer by sponsoring a great slate of live music Friday and Saturday nights in the beer garden.” Said Third Space Brewing’s Andy Gehl. “Nothing says Milwaukee summer like a cold pint of Happy Place while listening to great local music in our parks.”

Additionally, Bartolotta Restaurants has announced the 2026 season opening of Roundhouse Beer Garden at McKinley Marina. The lakefront beer garden will open on Thursday, May 21st from 11:00 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
