Join Crosswalk Actions on Brady St. to Support Pedestrian Safety
Alderperson Jonathan Brostoff is inviting area residents to participate in the upcoming Crosswalk Actions events set to happen along Brady Street in September. The events aim to support the businesses, workers, and neighbors along Brady Street by bringing attention to pedestrian rights and safety. This includes holding signs and helping people walk across the street safely.
“Pedestrian safety along Brady Street continues to be a top priority for all those who live, work and visit the area. Change and improvement will be coming, but in the meantime, the series of Crosswalk Actions events is a great way to bring attention to the rights of non-motorists using the street. I want to thank the BID and Wisconsin Bike Federation for their efforts to organize these events,” said Alderperson Brostoff.
Crosswalk Actions on Brady is a collaborative initiative with the Brady Street Business Improvement District, MilWALKee Walks (a Wisconsin Bike Fed program), and area neighbors. For additional questions, please email marybeth@wisconsinbikefed.org.
