Join Ald. DiAndre Jackson on Labor Day for Parade and Laborfest
Alderman DiAndre Jackson invites the public to join him on Labor Day (Monday, September 1) for the annual Milwaukee Labor Day parade and Laborfest at the Henry Maier Festival Park on the lakefront.
Participants in the parade will gather at 11 a.m. on Monday at Zeidler Union Square at 3rd and W. Michigan Streets, and then the parade will kick off from N. Vel R. Phillips Ave. (4th St.) and Wisconsin Ave. The parade will head east on Wisconsin Ave., south on Water Street, and east on Chicago Street to the festival park main gates on Harbor Drive.
Laborfest 2025 (1 p.m. to 5 p.m.) will feature a free day of fun and family-friendly activities that includes live music, food, children’s activities, and much more.
“As a proud longtime union member and labor organizer, I am looking forward to standing up and standing together in solidarity with my union brothers and sisters,” Alderman Jackson said. “We will celebrate the hard-fought victories of organized labor, and send a message to billionaires that we won’t back down from the fight for workers’ rights. Please join me on Monday.”
