In Tandem Theatre Rocks Out With Concert Version of Jesus Christ Superstar
This beloved musical is the dramatized version of the last seven days in the life of Jesus of Nazareth.

February 9, 2016 [Milwaukee] – In Tandem Theatre is pleased to bring back Jesus Christ Superstar (music by Andrew Lloyd Webber with lyrics by Tim Rice) on Friday, March 18 at 8:00 p.m., Saturday, March 19 at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, March 20 at 2:00 p.m. A benefit for In Tandem Theatre’s
artistic and educational programming, this concert version of the celebrated rock opera was last staged in 2014 and received rave reviews and packed houses. The limited run of three performances will take place in the historic sanctuary of Calvary Church (the “big red church”) at 935 W. Wisconsin Ave, located above In Tandem Theatre. Unique and exciting raffle packages will be available throughout the performance weekend as well as a cash bar. Tommy Hahn (Skylight Music Theatre) as Judas, David Flores (Skylight Music Theatre, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre) as King Herod, and Jefferson Award-Winning actress Angela Iannone as Pilate
(Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, Next Act). Musical direction is by David Bonofiglio.
