Walgreens has taken the unfortunate step of closing – suddenly – its store located at 4520 W. North Ave. in the 15th District. The store’s closing is definitely a loss for the community, as it was a popular shopping destination for many of us across the area.
Please join me for a community meeting at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 16 at The SOS Center, 4620 W. North Ave. to discuss concerns, suggestions and next steps for the former Walgreens building.
