Hispanic Heritage Month Begins with Brewers Cerveceros Night, Presented by Aurora Health Care®, on Friday, Sept. 15
Fans Who Purchase the Community Night Ticket Will Receive One-of-a-Kind Brewers Hispanic Heritage Cap; Special “Buy One Get One” Beer Special Until 7:30 p.m.
MILWAUKEE – The Brewers will host its annual Cerveceros Night, presented by Aurora Health Care®, at American Family Field next Friday, Sept. 15 as Major League Baseball begins its league-wide celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. The Crew will take on the Washington Nationals with a 7:10 p.m. first pitch.
Cerveceros Night honors the heritage and importance of Latin American culture in Major League Baseball with pre-game celebrations, musical performance and dance lessons, scoreboard features and on-field recognition. Fans attending the game on Friday will enjoy music provided by a Mariachi band and complimentary dance lessons from a local dance academy near section 406 from 5:45-6:45 p.m. Those who purchase a Cerveceros Night ticket will also take home a one-of-a-kind Brewers Hispanic Heritage Cap.In celebration of the night’s festivities, the Brewers are also offering a “buy one get one” on 16 oz. draft beer and cans of Miller Lite, Coors Light and Miller High Life – found at concessions stands and Marketplaces throughout the ballpark as well as at X-Golf and at J. Leinenkugel’s Barrel Yard. The celebratory offer is valid from the time gates open until 7:30 p.m.
In partnership with Brewers Community Foundation (BCF), several players including Willy Adames, Victor Caratini, Alex Claudio, Elvis Peguero, Freddy Peralta and Abraham Toro donated $30,000 to the League of United American Citizens (LULAC) scholarship fund. Matched by BCF, more than $60,000 has been donated to provide more than 40 students with a scholarship. Prior to Friday’s game, the Brewers will present a check to LULAC and several scholars will be onsite to throw a ceremonial first pitch.
