Hayward Man Charged with Ten Counts of Possession of Child Pornography

This investigation is led by the ICAC Task Force at DOJ and the Sawyer County Sheriff’s Office.

HAYWARD, Wis. – The Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ) Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force and Sawyer County Sheriff’s Office today announced that James A. Hatcher was charged on June 7, 2019 for ten counts of possession of child pornography.

On June 5, law enforcement executed a search warrant on Mr. Hatcher’s residence in Hayward, Wis. and he was taken into custody. Mr. Hatcher was booked in the Sawyer County Jail on June 5. A booking photo of Mr. Hatcher is attached

As in any criminal proceeding, Mr. Hatcher is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

This investigation is led by the ICAC Task Force at DOJ and the Sawyer County Sheriff’s Office.
