Grand Opening Celebration & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to Celebrate On&On Milwaukee Marketplace
Milwaukee, WI – On&On is pleased to announce that it will hold a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting ceremony for its new Walker’s Point Vintage and Handmade Marketplace located at 1031 S. 5th Street from 3-7pm (ribbon cutting at 4) on Friday, October 25th.
Scott and Maureen Planey are lifetime Milwaukee area residents. Even though Andrew has never lived in Milwaukee, the cousins have always been close, visiting each other often. On one trip to Scranton, Scott made a comment about opening an On&On in Milwaukee. It would be the perfect way for the family to see each other more and bring another great shop to the Milwaukee area. On&On MKE was born!
After looking for several months the partners found an available space in Walker’s Point. The space is the former home of TCR Auto Body, and had been vacant for several years. The partners also attended several festivals and markets where they talked with artists and vendors about joining the new shop. The word spread and now the marketplace is nearly full.
To celebrate their grand opening, On&On’s vendors will be dressing in their favorite decade and encourage their guests to do the same. Because… it’s almost Halloween… and who doesn’t love dressing up? On&On will provide drinks, vintage inspired candy treats, lots of fun giveaways, music and, of course, vintage and handmade shopping.
