Governor Walker Signs State Leasing Bill into Law
It is Act 132.
MADISON – Governor Scott Walker signed a bill relating to state leasing procedure into law today in the Wisconsin State Capitol.
Assembly Bill 205 – The bill requires the Department of Administration (DOA), which has the general responsibility for leasing for the state, to conduct a cost-benefit analysis before entering into or renewing a lease. Authored by Senator Chris Kapenga (R—Delafield) and Representative Rob Hutton (R—Brookfield), the bill passed the Senate on a voice vote and was concurred in the Assembly by a voice vote. It is Act 132.
