The organization also shares that a limited number of spots remain for the upcoming Ladies Rock Session 1 (March 27-29).

Ladies Rock Camp is a high-energy Friday to Sunday music experience where campers of all skill levels learn an instrument, form a band, write an original song, and perform live at a public showcase. No prior musical experience is required, and all instruments and equipment are provided.

Both sessions 1 and 2 run 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Sunday, and conclude with a live showcase performance for friends, family, and fans at Radio Milwaukee Studios. Attendance at all camp days, the kick-off meeting, and the showcase is required for participants.

Girls Rock MKE Executive Director Mary Joy Hickey explains, “Ladies Rock is about much more than just music. It’s building confidence, finding community, and learning more about yourself and your creative voice in the process.
