“Through her generosity, Dorothy Mundschau has created a lasting legacy that widens the doorway for more young people to pursue higher education,” said Greg Wesley, Greater Milwaukee Foundation president and CEO. “Partnering with Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast is a wonderful way to fulfill the purpose Ms. Mundschau intended with her planned gift to the Foundation by expanding opportunities for learning and career development in our community.”
Dorothy M. Mundschau grew up on the south side of Milwaukee. Most of her career was spent with Milwaukee County, performing accounting and auditing functions. In retirement, she explored her many intellectual interests through lifelong learning programs at UW-Milwaukee. She died in 1994, and her bequest to the Greater Milwaukee Foundation made this scholarship opportunity possible.
