Full Line-Up for This Thursday’s ArtBlaze at McKinley Beach

MILWAUKEE – Local public art nonprofit Joy Engine’s popular new ArtBlaze series will make its 2025 season debut this Thursday, July 24th at the newly revamped McKinley Beach. The all-ages event includes music, vendors, art activities, performances, waterside s’mores, and a Silent Disco as the sun goes down. Also: gigantic movement-responsive inflatable “HydroBloom” sculptures by FuzzPop Workshop and UW-Milwaukee Architecture students. Watch 2024 ArtBlaze recap by Samer Ghani

The Full Line-Up:

4pm: Tlalok

5pm: Embody Yoga

6pm: Shadi

7pm: The Quillz

8pm: Silent Disco Featuring DJs: Police Create Hippies, Sushi Lor, Blaze Orange.

ArtBlaze’s achievements last year included:

  • 5,000+ estimated total attendance
  • 65+ entertainers, performers, and musicians booked across a wide variety of genres
  • 600+ s’mores made and consumed by attendees
  • 110 people practiced yoga together at the beach
  • 1 monstrous 5’ x 12’ sand dragon sculpted by a master sand artist in collaboration with volunteers.
  • 3 larger-than-life inflatable “Cosmopods” created by FuzzPop Workshop
