FPC to Vote on Chief of Police Appointment

The Board will consider and vote on the appointment of Alfonso Morales to the position of Chief of Police for the City of Milwaukee for a period of time ending January 7, 2020.

PLEASE BE ADVISED that, in light of concerns raised regarding the notice given for the April 5, 2018 regular session meeting of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners, and in the interests of openness and transparency, the Board, at its regular meeting scheduled for May 3, 2018 at 5:30 P.M. in Room 301-B, City Hall, 200 East Wells Street, will consider and vote on the appointment of Alfonso Morales to the position of Chief of Police for the City of Milwaukee for a period of time ending January 7, 2020. At this same meeting, the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners will also consider and vote on the reappointment of Mark Rohlfing to the position of Fire Chief of the Fire Department for the City of Milwaukee.

As always, a period of public comment will take place at the beginning of the regular meeting. Comments concerning the aforementioned appointments will be welcome at such time.
