Milwaukee, Wisconsin, June 2, 2016… Festa Italiana, presented by Calypso Lemonades, is calling upon foodies everywhere to participate in its Third Chef’s Choice Recipe Contest taking place Sunday, July 24 in the Cucina Showcase.

This year, Festa Italiana organizers have made some new and exciting changes to annual recipe contest.  Instead of accepting Italian appetizers, organizers are accepting favorite baked goods, including pie, cookies, cake or bread.  Contestants can bring their favorite baked good to the Cucina Showcase on Sunday, July 24 between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. and are encouraged to attach the recipe with each item.  No prepared mixes can be used, and entries should be brought in disposable containers.

At approximately 6 p.m., a panel of judges will sample each entry in front of a live Cucina audience.  Each entry will be judged on taste and appearance.

The winner of the Chef’s Choice Recipe Contest will receive the third Golden Spoon Award, along with other food-related prizes.

Please include the following information in your submission: cook’s name, cook’s email, address, phone number, recipe title and recipe.  Recipes should include ingredients, measurements, step-by-step preparation, cooking directions and a photo of the dish when finished.

If you have any questions, please contact Cucina Manager Marie Lieber at marie@tshglaw.com.
