East Town Association Summer 2021

MILWAUKEE – April 1, 2021 – East Town Association is eager to announce our Summer 2021 plans for Cathedral Square Park. Although we are not yet in a position to return to the vibrancy of past summers that we all miss so dearly, the Square won’t be without excitement this year.

Cathedral Square Market will open Saturday, June 12 and run through Saturday, October 9th. Our longtime vendors and new partners are excited and grateful for the opportunity to return to Cathedral Square Park with their fresh produce and locally-made products. We are committed to offering a safe and healthy market to the downtown community and have implemented new vendor and shopper guidelines in alignment with CDC recommendations and city and county protocol.

The first ever East Town Association Golf Outing will be held June 6 at Brown Deer Golf Course with the support of Madison Medical Affiliates! Join us to support our East Town and help us raise critical funds for future summers. The Friday event will have a shotgun start at 1pm. $125/golfer or $500/foursome. The Deuxieme VIRTUAL Madison Medical Affiliates Storm the Bastille Run is returning in 2021! Online registration will open in May.  Madison Medical Affiliates’ generous support will keep us Storming from home again this summer. Thank you for joining us for this virtual version of our favorite 5k last summer! We had so much fun, we’re doing it a second time.

Bastille Days Festival will not be held in summer 2021. Event organizers have begun planning for July 2022. Dates to be announced.

Jazz in the Park will not be held in June, July, or August 2021. Stay tuned for further details regarding late summer Jazz in the Park plans.

East Town Association, Inc. is a membership-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to use its events and programs to cultivate a vibrant community experience, enhancing the neighborhood image and appeal, and preserving and celebrating our rich heritage.
