David Liners Launches Campaign for the 21st Assembly District

By - Feb 9th, 2026 12:00 pm

On Saturday, February 7, David Liners launched his campaign for the State Assembly in Wisconsin’s 21st District. “I’m running because we can’t afford business as usual,” said Liners. Among the priorities of the campaign are:

  • Fully funding public schools while lowering property taxes, by making corporations and the wealthy pay their fair share.
  • A pause on any new Data Centers that drive up utility bills.
  • A smart approach to public safety that invests in mental health, addiction treatment, youth programs and crime prevention.
  • A renewed commitment to inclusion and human dignity so everyone, no matter who they are, feels safe, valued and respected.

Liners also emphasized his commitment to hearing the voices of as many district residents as possible during the campaign. “I want to hear from the men and women of Oak Creek, Milwaukee and Greenfield. I want to go to Madison to represent our district’s needs and values, not the priorities of the consultants.”

The 21st Assembly District includes the “Garden District” of Milwaukee (the area around the airport), all of Oak Creek, and a small part of Greenfield. Liners is running as a Democrat, to challenge the incumbent Republican representative. For more about David Liners and the campaign, go to www.DavidLiners.com.
