Curt Kroeger Named Northwest Side Community Development Corporation Finance Director

Northwest Side Community Development Corporation (NWSCDC) has named Curt Kroeger, CPA the organization’s finance director.

As NWSCDC’s finance director, Kroeger is responsible for all aspects of the organization’s financial needs, bridging the gap between financial targets and operational decisions. He also plays a key role in NWSCDC’s function as a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI).

NWSCDC’s function as a CDFI, a specialized financial institution that works in market niches that are underserved by traditional financial institutions, provides access to capital for borrowers who make commitments to workforce development solutions within the northwest side of Milwaukee. Kroeger’s role involves tracking and managing the organization’s loan portfolio and payment systems.

Kroeger brings 25 years of accounting and finance experience with several Milwaukee-area Fortune 500 companies and nonprofits, including Fiserv, Journal Broadcast Group and Quarles & Brady LLP, to NWSCDC. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus on accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee – Lubar School of Business.
