Crystal Fey appointed associate director of business development at MSOE

Crystal Fey has been appointed as the new associate director of business development for the Center for Professional Education at Milwaukee School of Engineering. Fey will play a pivotal role in expanding the university’s direct-to-employer and contract-based training programs.

With extensive experience in strategic planning, relationship management, and program development, Fey brings a wealth of expertise to her new role. She is responsible for identifying and addressing workforce development needs, cultivating relationships with executive-level employers, and leading the development of customized training programs to meet the unique needs of industry partners.

“We are excited to welcome Crystal to MSOE,” said Dr. George Kroeninger, executive director of professional education. “She will work with our industry partners to design impactful, innovative training solutions. With her experience in manufacturing and higher education she is uniquely poised to enhance CPE’s mission to provide high-quality professional education programs.”

Fey will also manage the “MSOE at Work” program through which consultants from the CPE work with organizations to analyze their needs and develop customized programs. These programs provide immediate workplace application and empower individuals and teams to apply their knowledge to solve real world business problems and support business growth.

Before joining CPE, Fey served as director of policy and management at the University of Wisconsin–Extended Campus, where she provided leadership for 34 programs across 13 campus locations.

Fey holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Management from the University of Wisconsin-Superior, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her extensive experience spans across various industries, including higher education and manufacturing, where she has developed a reputation for being a solution-oriented leader who excels at building meaningful, long-term relationships.
