Crossroads Collective Announces a Pop-Up Program for Entrepreneurs
MILWAUKEE: April 19, 2023 — Crossroads Collective is launching an exciting new program allowing restaurant entrepreneurs to test their concepts at the East Side food hall with short-term, two-to-six-week stays, providing everything they need to bring their visions to life.
Crossroads Collective diners can expect to see a regular rotation of vendors in the Corner Pop-Up, a booth formerly occupied by Triciclo Peru, during the food hall’s regular hours of operation.
“Crossroads Collective aims to be a space where our community can come together and experience the best of what living in Milwaukee has to offer,” explains Paige Hammond, “Whether new or industry-veterans, we know that Milwaukee has so many talented chefs and restaurateurs that are ready to show our city what they’re made of.”
To celebrate the launch of its pop-up program, Crossroads Collective is hosting a contest that will allow a restaurant to participate, at no cost, in The Corner Pop-Up Spot program for one entire month, along with a $500 stipend to bring their vision to life. Entrepreneurs should submit their best pitch for a pop-up restaurant to info@crossroadscollectivemke.com by May 15th. Winners will be selected by May 22nd.
The East Side food hall takes pride in supporting small businesses, and this program provides an opportunity to continue that tradition. Vendors that began at Crossroads Collective and have since expanded to additional brick & mortar locations include Scratch Ice Cream, Heaven’s Table BBQ, Ruta’s Vibrant Indian Cafe, Egg & Flour, & Triciclo Peru.
Crossroads Collective is located at 2238 N Farwell Ave in Milwaukee and operates from 11 am – 9 pm Monday – Saturday and 11 am – 8 pm on Sundays. Their current vendors include Egg & Flour, Atwood HWY BBQ, Dia Bom, Scratch Ice Cream, Brew’d Burger, The Counter Day Bar, and Nute’s Café, which is set to open on April 21st. .
