MILWAUKEE — Today, Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley announced his 30-Day Plan with five areas he will focus on during his first 30 days in office. Working with the Wisconsin Legislature and through Executive Orders, Crowley will take an aggressive approach to deliver the immediate help Wisconsin families need right now.

“Most people don’t get 100 days to figure out how they’re going to pay their bills, they get 30. Rather than offering a laundry list of vague promises, I’m offering a transparent and pragmatic approach. My 30-Day Plan will immediately tackle affordability, care, and opportunity, delivering what Republicans have failed to do for Wisconsin families for the last 16 years,” said County Executive Crowley.

In his first 30 days as governor, Crowley will:

  • Repeal Act 10 in order to restore collective bargaining rights for all Wisconsin workers
  • Close the special education funding gap so school districts aren’t forced to cut programs and lay off teachers to make up the difference
  • Pass universal Pre-K and childcare utilizing the existing providers already serving Wisconsin families
  • Open BadgerCare as a public health option for every Wisconsin family
  • Strengthen and fund domestic violence prevention and crisis support across rural and urban Wisconsin

County Executive Crowley is the only candidate in the governor’s race with proven executive governing experience, overseeing the second-largest government in Wisconsin and delivering for one-sixth of the state’s entire population.

As the Democrat best positioned to take on Republican Tom Tiffany in November, Crowley brings a proven track record that no other candidate in this race can match. While others offer ambition and vague plans, Crowley offers real results. Wisconsin families deserve nothing less than a leader who can get things done.
