Congresswoman Gwen Moore Statement on Flyer Distributed in Milwaukee for Fake Event

“In Milwaukee, there are flyers being distributed for a fake event saying, ‘Join us as we stand for Israel and discuss investment opportunities in our community. Keynote speaker Gwen Moore joins Scott Lurie to take a stand against hate.’

This flyer, nor the event it advertises, is in no way associated with me, my office, or my campaign. I am not associated with this event. It is completely false. My office has a process to follow prior to accepting invitations to any meetings or speaking engagements. This activity was not ever initiated or approved.

I believe I am being targeted by a harassment campaign, which included me being ‘swatted’ last week.”
