Congresswoman Gwen Moore endorses JoCasta Zamarripa in race to be next 8th District Alderwoman

MILWAUKEE- JoCasta Zamarripa, candidate for Milwaukee 8th District Alderwoman, today announced U.S. Congresswoman Gwen Moore’s endorsement. Congresswoman Moore joins a growing list of elected officials rallying behind JoCasta in this race.

“JoCasta is relentless in her commitment to Milwaukee, and she would be a tremendous addition to the Milwaukee Common Council,” said Congresswoman Moore. “In a city that is changing, Milwaukee needs strong leaders who will listen and give everyone a seat at the table. JoCasta is the best woman for the job, and I’m proud to endorse her in this race.”

State Rep. JoCasta Zamarripa announced last month she’s filed to run for 8th District Alderwoman in the City of Milwaukee in April of 2020. Zamarripa has represented the near south side of Milwaukee in the State Assembly for nine years.
