Congresswoman Gwen Moore endorses Earnell Lucas for Milwaukee County Sheriff

MILWAUKEE – Today, Congresswoman Gwen Moore announced her endorsement of Earnell Lucas to be the next Milwaukee County Sheriff. Congresswoman Moore is the most recent addition to a growing list of elected officials voicing support for Lucas’ candidacy.
“The people of Milwaukee County deserve a Sheriff they can trust,” said Congresswoman Moore. “Earnell Lucas was born and raised in our community and represents the values that we hold dear. We need to repair the damage that has been done in the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office and restore the community’s trust in their law enforcement officials. Earnell Lucas has the experience and background necessary to get us back on the right track. I am proud to endorse him to be our next Milwaukee County Sheriff.”

Earnell Lucas was born and raised in Milwaukee. He is a graduate of Rufus King High School and Marquette University and is a 25-year veteran of the Milwaukee Police Department, retiring at the rank of captain. He enjoys a successful career with Major League Baseball, where he has served in many capacities, including Head of Security. Earnell lives in Milwaukee with his wife, Linda, and attends St. Matthew CME Church.
