This community event brings together residents, leaders, and advocates to raise awareness about homelessness while celebrating the power of literacy. In honor of Jeanette Bryant and Brandon West, the weekend-long experience will combine education, advocacy, and family-friendly fun.

Event Highlights:

  • Tent Tours – Explore six large-scale 10’ x 30’ rooms (Sept. 20–21, 12–7 PM)
  • Community & Youth Yoga
  • Scary Story Hour with S’mores
  • Outdoor Family Movie Nights
  • Open Sanctuary Room for prayer & serenity
  • Live-Streamed Demonstrations (5-7pm) on cooking, wellness, domestic violence awareness, survival skills, men’s wellness and homelessness

“This is more than an event—it’s a movement,” said Christal West. “Together, we are uplifting literacy, addressing homelessness, and showing what’s possible when community comes together in love and action.”
