City of Milwaukee Health Department Seeks Input for Strategic Plan
MILWAUKEE – As the City of Milwaukee Health Department (MHD) works to develop a five-year strategic plan to advance the health of Milwaukee through an anti-racist framework, they are turning to the community to provide valuable feedback. MHD’s commitment is to anchor this work in a comprehensive, data-driven, and participatory process; seeking the voice and insights of staff, residents, and service organizations to help understand the greatest opportunities for community health.
Milwaukee community members interested in sharing their thoughts and insights can access the survey at city.milwaukee.gov/MHDsurvey. The three-question survey will be open through December 23, 2021. The results of this data-gathering initiative will help MHD focus their resources and guide the department’s work in the future.
The Milwaukee Health Department engaged Genesis Health Consulting to facilitate the strategic planning work, providing an objective third-party viewpoint on the work. The strategic plan will be implemented in July 2022.
