MILWAUKEE –TEMPO Milwaukee recently announced that they have included County Board Chairwoman Marcelia Nicholson in their Emerging Women Leaders group, a network of “rising stars and high achievers” whom TEMPO has recognized for their outsize influence as community-minded changemakers.

“TEMPO Milwaukee is a cutting-edge organization that advances women’s professional development in Southeast Wisconsin and accelerates positive change,” said Chairwoman Nicholson. “I am thrilled to join the Emerging Women Leaders and learn from other dynamic and influential women to further our shared goal of making Milwaukee a better place to live, work, and play.”

TEMPO Milwaukee includes more than 280 women and is the leading organization for up and coming women leaders.

Individuals selected for the Emerging Women Leaders network participate in numerous professional development programs throughout the year including 1-to-1 peer mentoring, volunteer opportunities and a virtual webinar series. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, all programs will be virtual until further notice.

TEMPO Milwaukee’s Emerging Women Leaders group was established in 2015.
