Celebrate Black Restaurant Week by visiting local eateries
Joint Statement from members of the Milwaukee Common Council: Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs, Alderman Khalif J. Rainey, Alderman Ashanti Hamilton, Alderwoman Chantia Lewis, Alderman Russell W. Stamper, II, Alderwoman Nikiya Dodd and Alderman Cavalier Johnson
This week is the 6th annual Milwaukee Black Restaurant week, and 2021 is the curbside edition 2.0 where you can sample soul food, wings, BBQ, pizza and more from over 20 different restaurants citywide.
Local restaurants have been hit especially hard by the COVID-19 pandemic during the last year, and we are encouraging residents to take this opportunity to sample new, delicious foods while also supporting local businesses. Order curbside pickup, to-go, delivery or dine safely in-person at participating restaurants.
You won’t want to miss this celebration of culture, entrepreneurship and good eats! Visit https://blankspacemke.weebly.com for more information and a full list of participating locations. Most importantly, don’t forget to frequent all of Milwaukee’s black-owned restaurants year-round.
