Brittany Kinser Shatters Fundraising Record
MADISON, Wisc. – Fundraising reports are out and the findings could not be clearer: Brittany Kinser SHATTERED fundraising records in the race for DPI Superintendent.
While incumbent Jill Underly raised $1.06 million in the Pre-Election reporting period, with only $99,000 cash-on-hand in the run-up to the April 1 General Election, Kinser raised $1.86 million in the same window, with $890,000 cash-on-hand in the final stretch.
Through hard work, dedication, and a message that transcends political lines, Kinser shattered the previous record in Pre-Election receipts held by Underly who, in 2021, raised $1.14 million.
Meanwhile, Underly’s fundraising woes show significant weakness for the incumbent Democrat who has been at odds with both Republicans AND Democrats. Not only did Underly raise nearly $80,000 less this cycle compared to the same time period in 2021, but she also had less than one-third of the cash on hand in this report compared to 2021.
Commenting on her latest fundraising numbers, Brittany Kinser, candidate for DPI Superintendent, released the following statement:
“The support that I continue to receive as I campaign to become the next DPI Superintendent is overwhelming and humbling. My message of restoring high standards so that every child can read, write, and do math well so they have the opportunity to go to college, get a meaningful job, or master a trade transcends political lines. The latest fundraising totals signal a call for change in our education system and I look forward to being a part of the solution that sets our children up for success.”
